On Sept. 26, more than 30 individuals registered to take part in the final Paddlefest of the season. Individuals kayaked the more than 6-mile trek down the Levisa Fork to its stopping point near the Combs airport. Once Paddlefest participants were finished on the water, Prestonsburg Tourism provided lunches to those individuals, which were purchased from Pike in a Poke in Prestonsburg. Tourism Executive Director Samantha Johnson said the city and tourism board is already looking forward to the next season.
